Praised by The Baltimore Sun as "one of the finest cultural institutions in... the nation," the Bal-timore Choral Arts Society is featured in three choral works — the Pennsylvania premiere of acclaimed composer Jonathan Leshnoff’s Dark Bells, Brahms’ three-movement Schicksalslied, and Vaughan Williams’ wordless Flos Campi, together with violist Peter Minkler. Also on the program is Brahms’ Tragic Overture.

Peter Minkler, Viola

Violist Peter Minkler is a longtime member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra where he has been featured as soloist, in addition to serving as the principal violist with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society Orchestra. He has been featured as soloist with the Prince George’s Philharmonic, the Orchestra of St. Johns, Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra, The Columbia Orchestra, and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
