The board and staff of the Reading Symphony Orchestra have been closely monitoring COVID-19/coronavirus developments in our area and, after careful consideration, RSO has decided to cancel its April 18th performance of Broadway Rocks.

“The safety, health and wellbeing of the RSO’s patrons, sponsors, musicians, employees and volunteers is our top priority. In light of recent developments and all the precautions being taken by other organizations with respect to large crowds, we feel that is in the best interest of the RSO and our community in general to cancel our upcoming performance. While our mission is to provide our audience with beautiful music, we feel that it is also our responsibility to provide a safe environment as well,” said David Gross, executive director of the Orchestra. “In addition to all our patrons, I would sincerely like to thank our board, sponsors and musicians for their cooperation during this difficult time.”
