Aaron Copland’s majestic Lincoln Portrait, a tribute to our nation’s sixteenth president, comes alive in a new way with photochoreography by Westwater Arts depicting images from the Civil War era. The program also includes Vaughan Williams’ hymn-woven Symphony No. 5 in D Major, together with Interludes by Philip Glass, and George Butterworth’s The Banks of Green Willow.

About the Artist

Westwater Arts has been combining breathtaking imagery with classical music in ways that connect and inspire audiences for over 40 years, continually creating new concert pieces set to music. Westwater Arts is led by photographer and multimedia artist Nicholas Bardonnay who has worked on more than 80 concerts with orchestras in Dallas, Cincinnati, Tucson, Boulder, Omaha, Glasgow, Liverpool, Singapore, Toronto, and more, and has photographed, produced and performed over a dozen photochoreography pieces.
