Vivaldi – The Four Seasons
The Four Seasons, one of the most popular Baroque pieces in history, will feature the 1st prize winner of the 2021 Menuhin and Stulburg Violin Competitions, Keila Wakao. The Boston Globe said of Wakao “The first notes that she started playing captured my heart.”
This program also includes Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, sometimes known as his Great G minor Symphony. This work is one of two symphony’s Mozart composed in a minor key and continues to be one of his most widely heard and performed of all of his compositions.
