Single tickets, purchased in advance by calling 610-373-7557, can be held at the box office directly inside the doors to the main entrance of the Santander Performing Arts Center. Subscription tickets are mailed together when payment is received for the order in full.
Age eight is usually an appropriate age for children to come and enjoy an RSO concert
Groups of 10 or more are welcome! Save 25% on any RSO Concert. No other promotions or discounts may apply to the group rate. Group sales orders will be filled in the order of which full payment is received and must be accompanied by full payment. A handling fee will be applied to each group sale order. Will Call is the Box Office ticket window where you can pick up tickets that have been paid for in advance. Our Will Call window is located at the front of the building on the left after you enter the first set of doors.
Concerts begin at 7:30pm. The hall and the lobby typically open for seating one hour prior to the performance.

Some concertgoers may dress up and others may dress more casually for RSO concerts. Many patrons wear business or casual business attire. However, what matters most is your concert experience, not how you look, so we encourage you to wear what makes you comfortable.
Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m., and we make every effort to begin on time. The hall opens for seating half hour prior to the performance. Please allow ample time to park, pick up your tickets at the box office if necessary, and go through the metal detectors at the entrance to the Santander Performing Arts Center.
Feel free to come as early as 6:30 p.m. and enjoy a pre-concert performance by young local musicians or take part in our RSOvertures discussion in the hall, where you can get a preview of the music being performed that evening, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Concerts average around two and a half hours, including a 15 minute intermission.
Each Bravo! program contains program notes about the music. The hall opens at 7:00 p.m. to patrons so you are welcome to arrive then to allow ample time to read about the music being performed.
On Wednesdays prior to all classics concerts, a Know Your Symphony lecture is held at 7:30 p.m. at The Highlands. Additionally, patrons are invited to RSOvertures, prior to each classics concert at 6:45 p.m. in the hall, where Maestro Andrew Constantine discusses the upcoming evening’s program, joined by special guests.
Traditionally clapping does not take place in between movements of pieces, however with some works, it can be impossible to hold back applause during these short pauses!
Ushers will seat patrons that arrive late during an applause break. Patrons are asked to wait in the back of the theater until they are shown to their seats.
The RSO typically has a 15 minute intermission at each concert that occurs approximately halfway through the performance.
The RSO will post any cancellations or postponements on our home page, social media and local radio and TV.

Photography is not permitted during the concert itself, as it can be disruptive to the musicians and patrons, however prior to the concert you are welcome to take and post photos, particularly if you would like to “check-in” to the RSO concert or use the hashtag #readingsymphonyorchestra on social media.
If you believe you have lost a possession at the Santander Performing Arts Center, please call 610-898-7229 to see if it is in the lost and found. Please note that the Santander Performing Arts Center and the Reading Symphony Orchestra are not responsible for lost possessions.
Patrons attending events at Santander Performing Arts Center will be subject to their Bag Policy.
A small clutch no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” may be carried in to RSO events held at the Santander Performing Arts Center.
All other bags (backpacks, large purses, oversized tote or mesh bags, reusable grocer bags, drawstring bags, camera bag/binocular case, printed plastic bag, fany packs, or diaper bags) are strictly prohibited.

Outside food and beverage is prohibited at the Santander Performing Arts Center. Please do not bring any bottles of water/juice/soda or any alcoholic beverage of any kind. All patrons found bringing outside food and beverage into the theater will be asked to return it to their vehicle or dispose of it in the trash.
Due to new security enhancements at the Santander Performing Arts Center will be discontinuing the use of the exterior smoking areas and guests will no longer be permitted to leave the building and re-enter to smoke.
The new rule will be strictly enforced at all events and prohibits the use of electronic “e-cigarettes” anywhere inside the facility.
